  • What should I bring to my appointment?

    Undergarments, shoes, slippers. Bring anything that would make you feel supported under your wedding gown. You may or may not need it. 

  • May I take pictures of the gowns while I try them on?

    Yes! We encourage you to take photos and video.

  • What are the price ranges for dresses at Curvy Couture?

    Designer gowns starts at 1,500 and can go up to 6,000 depending on intricacy of the gowns construction.

  • What dress sizes are available to try on at Curvy Couture??

    Our samples size vary. However, most of our sample grows are a bridal size 14 to 32. Please note that bridal sizing runs very differently size smaller. Regardless, this is nothing to be worried about. Your stylist will dip and fir the gown to you whether sample be the big, too small, or just tight!

  • What is a special order dress?

    When your base measurements are taken at the time of purchase and the closest size on the size chart is ordered for you. Once your gown arrives in store, your dress will be molded and sculpted to your shape in alterations. This differs from a sample or off-the-rack gown in which the dress is purchased and taken home the same day.

  • Can I customize my wedding dress?

    Inquire with your stylist about specific requests you may have.

Rush Orders

  • I’m getting married in less than 4 months. Is it too late to get a gown from Curvy Couture?

    No: It’s not too late, but every second courts. Please schedule your appointment with us ASAP. The options include purchasing a dress of the rack and take home the same day as well as potentially from a designer that does rush order for a rush fee plus standard delivery fees.

  • How much will a rush fee cost?

    Rush fees vary by designer, style, and proximity to the wedding date. Your stylist will guide you and provide more information regarding costs based on your specific situation.

  • What else do I need to know about rush orders?

    We kindly ask that you understand that a limited time frame results in limited options. We will never offer a gown that our team cannot get on time. This is also why we encourage our brides, especially those with a close wedding date to promptly arrive to the appointment well prepared and with an open mind!


    Finally, we advise having a flexible schedule leading up to your wedding day in order to accommodate for rush alterations.


Fitting & Alterations

  • When do I schedule my first fitting?

    When your gown arrive, you will receive an email call and text message. At this time, you will pay the remaining balance and schedule your first fitting.

  • What should I bring to my first fitting?

    For your first fitting please make sure to bring the exact shoes you plan to wear on your wedding day. We will not start the alterations process unless you have your shoes. Please being any undergarments you plan to wear on your wedding day as well.

  • How many fittings will I need?

    Brides typically require about 3 fittings to ensure a proper fit. This process usually entails a hem, bustle, as well as molding and sculpturing the gown to your shape, however, the number of fitting may fluctuate depending on the specific dress or situation. After the final fitting, we’ll press and package your gown for you.

  • How should I get into my wedding dress?
    • To put your gown on, we recommend having the assistance of 1-2 people.
    • Create a clear opening where you can view the floor-step into your dress like pants. After pulling it UPI situate the dress by moving your bust into place first. Once the bodies is straightened and in the correct position, fasten the hook and have before zipping, corseting, or buttoning the gown.
